“RFF — Russian Flora and Fauna” award has categories:
RFF-A — Activator,
RFF-H — Hunter,
RFF-SWL — Short Wave Listener (SWL),
and are issued free of charge in the form of electronic certificates (PDF or JPG files) solely on the basis of confirmation of the conducted QSO uploaded to the WWFF LogSearch database. Another confirmations of a different kind (paper QSL, e‑QSL, LoTW, etc.) are not accepted.
QSO are valid since July 1, 2008 or since date of inclusion of corresponding reference to RFF and WWFF Directories.
A special application is not required for RFF-A and RFF-H awards — the application for an award is automatically formed and sent to the award manager by clicking on a button in WWFF program participant's personal cabinet. The button becomes active after completing of each next award grade.
Applicants of the RFF-SWL award should prepare an application in the form of an log extract and send it by e-mail to the award manager address. The application should specify the date, time, band and reference number for the credit and both call signs for each QSO.
RFF-A
It is necessary to activate at least 5 different RFFs to obtain the award.
Separate awards (grades) are issued for the activation of 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 RFFs.
RFF-H
It is necessary to conduct QSO with at least 11 different RFFs to obtain the award.
Separate awards (grades) are issued for QSO with 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77 and 88 RFFs.
RFF-SWL
SWLs can also obtain a special SWL award. It is necessary to log QSO with at least 11 different RFFs.
Separate awards (grades) are issued for logged QSO with 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77 and 88 RFFs.
